Salmagundi = a Caribbean dish of leftovers; Gardeners = people living and/or working in the vicinity of Covent Garden and their friends.  Hence Salmagundi Gardeners – a team devoted to social cricket, playing firstly for enjoyment with the result of the match not the most important aspect (however, players are expected to try to play their best cricket as often as possible … we don’t actually like losing, it’s simply not the be-all and end-all).

We play our home games on public pitches as close to central London as ground availability and club funds (both fairly scant) allow.  So our home is usually at Parliament Hill (nearest tube Gospel Oak) or on Hampstead Heath Extension (Golders Green tube).

Would you like to become a player or supporter?  Drop us a line: email-to-Salmagundi.  I’m proud to say you’ll find us an agreeable group with a ready smile and a welcoming attitude.
